RSWC Wrestling Coaching Position is Now Open
The Rising Sun Wrestling Club at Arizona State University is actively searching for a new head coach and club director.
RSWC is actively seeking a person to fill the position of head wrestling coach and club director to lead the program. The RSWC is located at Arizona State University and uses the same facility that the Arizona State Wrestling team. The club is looking for a coach who can lead all aspects of the program. Rising Sun WC is a club for kids, K-12, for both beginners and advanced wrestlers, with additional opportunities to run classes for women and adults. Currently RSWC has a beginners, kids, and high school wrestlers and operates Monday – Thursday. RSWC is also assisted by the ASU Wrestling Coaching staff and supported by the Arizona State Wrestlers and alumni. RSWC is located in Tempe, Arizona.
Job Functions Include:
- Layout the daily, weekly, and monthly practice and competition schedule
- Manage the complete membership base
- Coach successful wrestling technique, tactics, and strategy to all age groups and levels of experience
- Travel with the team and tournaments as necessary
- Drive membership for all classes
- Help manage Rising Sun Wrestling Club website
- Work with Arizona State University athletics and staff on a regular basis
- Manage the team apparel and team equipment as needed
